Program Requirements/Eligibility

To be eligible to participate, each applicant must:

Have two years post high-school education, most likely a college, sophomore, junior or senior student earning a degree in dairy science, dairy management or related major.

Be a U.S. citizen

Be available to work full-time during the program term - 10 weeks

Application deadline is Monday, January 16 by 5:00 p.m. PST.

Applicants will be notified January 27, 2012 regarding interview status.

Phone Interviews will take place in February 2012.

Campus Interviews, if arranged, will take place early February 2012.

Applicants will be notified by February 28, 2012 regarding final selection.

The internship is May 28 - August 5, 2012.  You may coordinate with the dairy for additional work before or after the internship.

Interns are responsible for providing feedback throughout the program.

VIDEO: You are strongly encouraged to sumbit a 1-3 minute video/DVD/You Tube post introducing yourself, your qualifications and why you would like to participate in the internship (not evaluated for creativity, just so we can meet you). Email a link to application@dairyintern.com.

REFERENCES:
Intern Reference in Word.  Applicants are required to submit 2 references.  Employers, agricultural college advisors, college professors and other professionals are recommended.  References from family members are not accepted.
