Hilmar Dairy Internship
Application
Program Requirements/Eligibility
To be eligible to participate, each applicant must:
Have two years post high-school education, most likely a college, sophomore, junior or senior student earning a degree in dairy science, dairy management or related major.
Be a
Be available to work full-time during the program term - 8 weeks
Applications are due January 30, 2009 by 5:00 p.m. PST.
Applicants will be notified February 6, 2009 regarding interview status.
If available, candidates will interview at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, CA February 11
or during the Western Dairy Challenge. Please also let us know if your college will be visiting California.
Phone Interviews will take place the last week of February.
Applicants will be notified by March 13, 2009 regarding final selection.
The internship is June 1 - July 31, 2009. You may coordinate with the dairy for additional work before or after the internship.
Interns are responsible for providing feedback throughout the program.
Applicants will be notified February 6, 2009 regarding interview status.
